About Acupuncture Update
Acupuncture Update is free for licensed acupuncturists and students. Every Tuesday, you get one study worth knowing about, one idea for your practice and the CEUs coming up.

Good courses are out there, but you had to comb through the board's course search to find them, or hope a provider's ad landed in your inbox. Miss the ad, and the course was like a food truck you hear about the day after it leaves. In every issue, we list new courses from the CAB's approved list, with dates, format and hours in one place. (We'd list NCBAHM courses too, but NCBAHM doesn't allow it. We checked.)

Who knew new acupuncture studies come out every week? They do, scattered across journals and written for other researchers. Keeping up on your own is a second job with no CEU credit.
So each week, we pick the one worth knowing about and tell you the interesting part first, then what kind of study it was and how much it can tell you. You'll find points and protocols when the study reports them. We write about research the way a colleague would: curious, honest about the limits, and respectful of a medicine that doesn't always fit neatly into a trial.
03
You trained to treat patients, not to market a practice. So each week, we share one small, timely idea for your practice, like a reminder that patients can spend leftover FSA money on care. Some will be new to you, and some will be the nudge you were glad to get. None of them pile onto your to-do list.
