A comprehensive evidence map published in the Journal of Pain Research found that specialized acupuncture therapies safely and significantly reduce the intensity of lasting nerve pain following a shingles outbreak.
In practice resources, we explore the (big, broad) role of communication. See below.
RESEARCH
Patient-friendly: The Journal of Pain Research published a study mapping the benefits of acupuncture for postherpetic neuralgia, the severe nerve pain that can linger after a shingles outbreak. Researchers found that specialized acupuncture techniques safely and significantly reduce pain intensity, offering a reassuring, drug-free option to soothe nerve irritation and improve daily comfort.
PRACTICE RESOURCES
Communication is – yes, a huge, broad topic. It's a skill we can always improve on, and one that thankfully has plenty of room for creativity. As practitioners, staying true to that authentic voice while sharing this medicine is essential. And (you can probably guess where I’m going with this…) video is the perfect practice for discovering, honing, and sharing your voice to inspire locals to discover your clinic. So let’s get practicing! Sign up here — it all starts NEXT WEEK!
