Tangerine Peel-Based Herbal Formula Ameliorates Metabolic Syndrome

A preclinical study in The American Journal of Chinese Medicine examined Tanshi-Tiaoti Decoction, a tangerine peel-based herbal formula, for metabolic syndrome. The formula improved weight gain, fasting glucose, triglycerides, and fatty liver in a high-fat diet model while restoring gut microbiota balance.
