The New Patient Plan
We call them the maybes: patients who would have said yes if the answer had been on the page, or the name had been on the list. The New Patient Plan wins them back.
Early access is open
The New Patient Plan is in early access. A small group of practitioners gets it first, by email, for $99 instead of $199, before it opens to everyone.
The New Patient Plan · Early access
A woman with a crick in her neck has four acupuncturists’ websites open. Only one answers her question, and that one gets the booking. Across town, a doctor’s front desk looks for a name to give a patient who asked about acupuncture, and all they find under “Acupuncture” is a coffee ring.
The New Patient Plan wins them back. Twelve short sections put your marketing in order and leave you with a clear, doable weekly routine that helps new patients find you while you're busy with the ones already on your table. It's written for solo and small-group practices by an acupuncturist who also does marketing.
Help me win back the maybes →$99 for early access, $199 after launch. There are 15 seats, and enrollment closes November 24.

I'm good at what I do. I just wish more of the right people knew it.
You already know the spiel: you trained to treat patients, not to market a practice. And every new idea or pitch (an ad package from the review site that won’t stop calling, a podcast with your favorite colleague, a booth at the wellness fair) sparkles at the start, then eats more time, energy and money than you had, and the bookings it promised never show up.

Whether you’re swimming in marketing ideas or scrubbing the bathroom grout so you don’t have to think of one, the hard part is knowing where your attention goes first.
The plan starts with a calm, decisive way to move forward: know your financial benchmarks, name the patients you want more of, and learn the three questions every idea has to pass.
Twelve sections · PDF and Workbook
A marketing plan built for acupuncture practices: twelve short sections, worked in order. You finish with your take-home goal set, your policies written, the right patients able to find and choose you, and a simple routine to keep it all going. Every fill-in, template and script is in the Workbook, which is AI-ready. Fill it in by hand, or upload it to your AI and answer its questions.

Your Weekly System
Every recurring job on one page.
✓ A monthly gross and visit target you can check against your calendar
✓ Fees, policies and a satisfaction promise that match everywhere they appear
✓ A Google profile and website that answer patients' questions before they call
✓ A referral packet ready for the doctor's office
✓ A schedule of every recurring job, with how to automate it
✕ Daily social posting
✕ Being on video
✕ Running ads (when you're ready for them, the plan explains what has to be in place first)
✕ Rebuilding your website
✕ Hiring a marketer, or anyone else

Why skip social? It works for some practitioners, usually the ones who enjoy making short videos several times a week. For everyone else the reach is thin. In Socialinsider's 2026 study of 872,075 brand posts, the average Instagram post reached under 5% of an account's followers, and the average Facebook post under 2%. Socialinsider sells social media analytics, so if anyone had a reason to round those figures up, it's them.
<5%
of followers reached by the average Instagram post
<2%

Early access opens The New Patient Plan to a small group before everyone else. The introduction and Section 1 arrive by email right away, and the rest follow every other day, each with its Workbook pages to fill in. Before the plan opens to everyone, you’ll get the final edition, with early readers’ feedback built in.
Work through it in order. The order matters more than the pace. Laws, rules and figures are sourced, so you can check any of them yourself.
You’ll get it first, and be months ahead of everyone who waited.

A new five-star review comes in. You read it twice, then reply with a response you wrote once and never have to write again.
A doctor’s office calls asking for your referral packet, and the office manager wants it addressed to her so she can share it with the staff.
A new patient rebooks and mentions her tennis elbow pain is much better. She’s sent a friend your way, too.
When the 90-day check comes around, you look over one page, see which ideas paid for themselves and pick the next one.
You don’t have to become a marketer, any more than your patients have to learn to needle themselves.
Finishing the plan feels like hearing those five magic words from the clerk with the clipboard at jury duty:
“You can all go home.”
The time is yours again.

A note from the editor
I'm a licensed acupuncturist, and I've been part of the California acupuncture community for 25 years. Before acupuncture, I worked in marketing. I ran my own practice in Oakland and San Francisco. I've also taught CEUs on acupuncture marketing and designed websites and set up Google Ads for other practices.
That's how I know the hard part. Explaining acupuncture to the public takes nuance: how to talk about it, what your board allows, why a patient hesitates before booking a first visit. Hiring a marketer who understands that is close to impossible. The New Patient Plan is what I'd give a colleague instead.
Plenty of marketing programs grow out of one practitioner’s success story. Those stories are inspiring and we need more of them, but a system that worked for one practice can turn rigid in yours.
So the plan draws on credible data, including what patients and almost-patients say holds them back from booking. It mixes the business classics that still hold up with newer voices in marketing, operations and customer service, each picked for a practice your size. The result adapts, whether you’re the type to tinker with your website or the type to walk your referral packet over yourself.

Who is this for?
Solo and small-group practices, including hybrid practices that offer some community hours. Opening soon or just opened? It works for you too. It doesn’t cover business setup or getting credentialed with insurers, so pair it with a guide that does.
Who isn't it for?
Larger clinics with staff to manage, and community-only clinics. The plan is built for a practitioner who runs the show. A clinic with a payroll, or one built on a sliding scale, needs its own plan.
Does it work if I take insurance?
Yes. One example practice is mostly in network, one is out of network and one is cash only. The plan doesn't cover getting credentialed with insurers.
Why is it $99?
It’s the advance-copy price, for the first 15 practitioners. Enrollment closes November 24, and after that, the price goes up to $199.
How long does it take?
Most sections take 30 minutes or less. After that, the routine is a few recurring jobs and a check every 90 days.
Do I have to post on social media?
No. The plan's one recurring post goes to your Google Business Profile, where people searching nearby already look. If you enjoy Instagram, the same post works there as-is.
What about my board's rules?
The plan covers the federal rules (FTC and HIPAA), gives four state board examples and shows you where to find your own state's rule. It's guidance, not legal advice, and it flags when a health care attorney is worth a call.
Does it use AI?
Only if you want it to. Upload a section and its Workbook to ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, paste in the one prompt from the Workbook's first page, and you'll answer the AI's questions one item at a time. It shows its math, keeps the compliance wording and never asks for patient information, and you approve every answer. Every template also works as written, so you can fill in the Workbook by hand.

They found you, or nearly did. The New Patient Plan helps the next ones book.
Picture it: a review answered before your tea cools, a doctor’s office asking for your packet by name and one page that tells you what to keep.
